The brief for Retro Nuovo was to conceptualise a new product in the Vespa brand and to create unique and innovative packaging for this product.

Retro Nuovo is a polaroid camera designed for Vespa in collaboration with Polaroid. The packaging is designed to function both as the initial package and as a long term camera case/display case with attachable bag straps. The packaging is sustainably sourced and recyclable, made from a fibreglass exterior with  a mycoComposite interior to secure and protect the camera and accessories.

The visual design represents the collaboration of two brands incorporating the iconic red colour of Vespa and the form and feel of a Vespa bike. The exterior design takes influence from the Polaroid logo of five lines expanded into a spherical form 
and manipulated to create the image of a camera.
