No More Rubbish Excuses is an anti littering  campaign designed in conjunction with the City of Melbourne. The goal of the campaign was to inform young people on the issue of littering and provide them with calls to action to educate themselves further and contribute to positive action.

The campaign included an extensive design strategy resulting in a series of posters and an educational website. The challenge with this design was communicating the severity of the issue to young people with out being to severe as research showed people only responded to images of animals being actively affected by this issue. The resulting design used a harsh tone across the collateral but with illustrations rather than photos to be age appropriate but still hold impact. 

 

This project included design strategy, illustration and print and involved extensive research reports, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
